i was wondering how the genetics of morphs work in r. ciliatus. i am planning on breeding them, but first things first, a friend and i both bought babies from the same dealer at a reptile show. her baby was mostly red, but i got a real nice orange flame. hers also seemed to have a lil dalmation in it, cuz it had a few small spots here and there. i was wondering, could our two be related if mine shows no signs of dalmation? i was thinking about possibly trying to mate hers with mine, since my second one also turned out to be male, but of course i wouldnt want to do so if theyre related. anyone have suggestions? any advice or links concerning breeding for phenotype?
