my KY locale prairie king. He is right around 8 months old. These guys sure grow slow, but worth it. I think the prairie kings are highly underrated! Beautiful snakes with a super easy going temperament, a little hard to get going as hatchlings, but once they get started, just like any other king, a hearty feeding response.

Cute little guy. You have an interesting collection. Heavy on the normal/locality specimens. I like that.

I really enjoy the normal snakes most of all. The one abnormal is the albino black rat. He was purchased from Dwight Good, and was such a good looking albino, I had to have him!! LOL He is really looking good, still has the killer orange.

Im really into the KY and MO snakes though, and much of the normal stuff is just so overlooked. Mother nature has some very interesting colors and variations, and its neat just to see the subtle differences.

Hoping to add an Eastern king, a speckled king, gray rat, and a few other select snakes to my collection this year.

Unfortunately it takes forever to warm up enough for them to come out. You already having fun and I'm still looking at my pictures from last year.

OH we are not having fun yet either!!! It got down to the 20's here last night and the last few days have only been up in the low 40's. We have had maybe 2 or 3 nice days thus far, but starting tomorrow, it is supposed to get up into the mid to high 60's and stay. We will see, if it does, then I will be out looking and will take some pics.
