One question about feeding...

daizeycrazy Mar 22, 2004 03:49 PM

I recently got my two-year old female "Macey" at our local reptile show. She was used primarily for breeding purposes and they told me she ate between 2-5 crickets daily. Well, I have been trying to figure out what her daily diet is, and every day I have increased it one more. Last night she ate 10 crickets. They are the right size for her... but isn't 10 a lot? Or is this normal? I mean she eats them right away? What is the norm for a two-year old gecko?

i feed as much as mine will eat. It fluctuates daily. Leos have a faster metabolism than other herps and once adult size will not gain weight that much unless a diet change happens.
