i cought a crawl dad or "cray fis" the other day and is it ok for my froggy to eat it? i cant get him to eat night crawlers or crickets onily mice and fish, witch i have read that feeding them this on a regular basis is bad for them. so what can i do?

he is a verry beautiful albino male mesuring about 3-3 1/2 inches round its the first packman i have ever owned

Don't feed it a crayfish. They are loaded with all sorts of parasites and what not. They call them mud bugs for a reason. Try mealworms, nightcrawlers, wax worms, grasshoppers, any other inverts. Mice and fish are an extremely poor diet, which will lead to the early death of your frog. Andy

It shouldn't be that hard to get it to eat nightcrawlers. Mine ignored them at first, until I learned that you have to make the worm move yourself, not rely on it to move for you. Tons work well for this. if ya just plop the worm in the tank, it either burrows under your frog or just sits there. If you wiggle it in front of the frog, it should eat, if hungry.

I'd recommend a substrate change to EcoEart/Bed-a-Beast instead of gravel as gravel can lead to impaction of your frog.
It's normal for pacmen to not poop for weeks at a time, no worries there.
How often are you feeding him? Once a week is plenty for adult pacman frogs.
