in my 20 gallon high tank, i have the mud substrate that expands with water. i also have some branches, fake plants, water bowl, and 2 green tree frogs. i was wondering if i could grow live grass or moss in the tank with a aquarium light fixture with 2 heat producing bulbs? would there be any advantage to growing live plants in the substrate such as it would retain more moisture and such?
