Just wondering when to start giving my young corn 2 pinks instead of 1. I have heard alot of different ideas, so I am trying to straighten them out. You do move up to 2 pinks before a fuzzy correct?

Basic info: 18 grams, 17 inches long and still hunting after first pink tonight.

When you want to.It wont hurt your snake to feed it a pinky every 5 days.You can switch to fuzzies when there less than 1 1/2 of your snakes girth.I have messed/experimented with feeding on all my corns.When i first got my trio of hypos i fed one pinky every seven days,one 2 pinkies at a time once a week,and one,one fuzzy a week.There about a year old now and there all about the same size and weight.I do have them all switched over to small mice now....Paul.

will my corns are about the same size as your. they can down 3 pinks right now but i normaly do two. i have a large supply of them so i keep feeding pinks until i have no more then move them up to the next size. in your case if you dont have a big supply you can do 2 pinks till they get a little bigger and then move them to fuzzies or you can just move them to fuzzies right away, if you do this make sure the food is not bigger than 1.5 times the body size, anything bigger and its very likely they will regurege.

yea.....go to 2 pinks or right to little fuzz.......

some of last years here eat little fuzz yet and others are eating hoppers........
