Heres a million dollar Idea

rottenweiler9 Mar 22, 2004 10:39 PM

I have noticed that some of my snakes when I just put the food in there will go up to it and keep there head on it, to see if it is still alive, if it is not they dont eat it. Well, if you could come up with a digestable little chip thing that you put into the rat, rabbit, or whatever, to make it feel like it has a heart beat, it will bit it and wrap it. Of course the little chip could only be good for say 5-10 min, what do you think of that.

I got this idea because my pain in the you know Boa, will not eat anymore but will eat only rat pups, and then I have to throw a frozen one on it while it is wraped the pup, it is getting to big for those and will not eat a bigger rat. Any suggestions on that as well would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Jeff

I made a clip stick. Similar to a snake stick but it has a roach clip on the end instead of a hook. I clip the rats tail and move it around from a safe distance. I have had much success with it so far using P/K or F/T.
