I never owned a male gecko with a regenerated tail. Regular males vibrate their tails sort of as a mating call but does a regenerated tail affect it's breeding process??

Hey there,
Sincerely, I haven't had a male with a regenerating tail, but do know some people who had some, and he bred perfect for them. Therefore, and based on that fact, i believe you should be just fine. Take care man,
Tundra Geckos
It's not a genetic problem.
As far as function goes, they can and do move regenerated tails just as they could their originals. I was just thinking about this the other day. Leos are really facinating! LOL! One would think that a regenerated tail wouldn't be as well controlled as an original but it is...it wows me every time I think about it.
I have a female that has successfully bred and laid fertile eggs. I cannot see why a male would not be able to do the same.
Regards,
Terry
