What if the snake is to big

I always wondered, what if a king snake is eating another snake that is longer than himself?? What happeneds

I have seen some interesting xrays of a kinssnake that ate another snake longer than it. Intersting how the other snakes tail was actualy bent around and swallowed with the rest. I have had a 7" speckled king eat a 9" Red Rat (not intentional)with no ill effects (to the king) Too large a meal is just thrown back up usually.
