My BP has finally ate after 4 weeks due to a bad shed he didn't want to eat.

He did something strange. After he killed the mouse he played around with it and had the mouses head in his mouth for atleast 45 minutes. Then he finally started to eat. When he was down to the tail he layed on his backside to finish digesting the mouse.

He had never done this before. Is this a normal behavior for Ball Pythons?

Yup.. Nothing to worry about. I have one that takea a hr to eat
