Going South with my BCI...

Herpocrite Mar 23, 2004 02:08 PM

Hey folks... I'm moving down to Texas from Massachusetts with my 6-month old BCI. I'm going to be making the drive in my little VW GTI and I was wondering the best way to get my little girl down there in good shape. My current plan is to buy a couple 40hr heat packs and a rubbermaid container. Punch some holes in the container, put the heat pack in so it covers about a third of the bottom and hit the road. Is there anything I'm missing or forgeting? Would it be better to use a styrofoam cooler type container? What do you guys think? The trip should take about 44hrs all told.

Thanks,
Herpocrite.

I would say you have got it figured out really good. Considering the snake will be the car with you, the temps should be fine.
Where in Tx are you moving to?

Moving back home to Austin, TX.... Can't wait. I've been holding off buying a pair of Amazon Tree Boas until I get down there and get settled in.

And there's also the fact that it's warm....
