i was wondering what subtrate is best.... i wanna use sand... i read that playsand is the best and that the reptile sand they sell in pet stores isnt good for them. i also read somewhere that playsand simply bought at home depot is fine but when i went the other day and i didnt like the looks of it... in my garage at home we had bought Carribbean playsand for when the driveway is icey... this sand looks much better than the sand from home depot... it very fine, white, says its sterilized on the bag and it's very soft... is this good to use?
i want nuthin but the best for my dragon but i want it too look nice in his new home. right now on one side i have the reptile bark that the store sold me when i bought him but im afraid he'll eat some with his food by accident even though i havent seen it happen yet (i dont know how good that is for his system)... and on the other side i have the reptile sand until i find safer sand to use.
