Need info for spineytailed iguanas

Sam-N-Ella Mar 23, 2004 03:10 PM

Someone is giving away a spiney tailed iguana that is between 3-4 feet long. They said it's a female and they rescued(found) it about 6 mos. ago. I don't know anything about them or even what they look like. I've probably seen pictures of some, but I don't remember. Are they pretty much the same to take care of as green iguanas? And for now would a 4'long,3'tall,2 1/2deep enclosure be ok for a little bit? In other words...will the new addition to my iggys enclosure be good enough for it for now? I can close their new addition back off and use it for the spineytail if it will work. My iggys still don't like to go into their new addition so it won't bother them if they don't have access to it. Any info would definately help. Thank you.
