my baby is growing

Chuck420 Mar 23, 2004 03:13 PM

my corn shed again this is the second time in the past month and a half i measured it and it was 2 feet, thats a foot since i got her back in december...i was just wondering though, she is still feeding on pinks and pink/fuzzys because she is not that big around the girth when will she start to thicken up? seems to me she is just growing in length tho her girth size has increased since i got her...i wasnt sure whether she was oketee phase or not, i think she has a bit in her but she kinda looks like a cajun/oketee/normal anyway i just thought i'd share

grown a foot in 3 months? whoa. my male corn has only grown maybe 5 inches since i got him in november. he was a late hatchling born in october, so he's almost 6 months and just about 20"...sound normal? does anyone have an average growth rate chart or anything like that? after seeing a few posts about it i'm a little worried about his slow growth. thanks-

I've heard the shed is not an accurate way to measure your snake's length, as the skin stretches up to 25% during the shedding process. :->
