Do they hop alot & high?

Mine just make soft sqeaky-toy noises when they mate.
Their life span is about 5 years, but I've heard of toads that have lived up to 10 years in captivity.
Mine just kind of hop around a tiny little bit, not even an inch off the ground.

I have 14 and once they get going you can hear them from two rooms away. It never bothers me, but they can really get going. They have two different sounds, one is the louder call and the other is a soft, quick chirping, and that is a male telling the other male, get off of me, I am a male.

Mine love to hop around on land and they love to jump into the water from driftwood, plants etc. It is actually quit fun to watch. They will get to the top of whatever they are climbing and then get to the edge and jump into the water, get out and do it all over again and again and again.

I have had 8 of those for 10 years and 6 are about 3 years old. I only have one that is really showing her age. She is now completely blind in one eye and the other is not in good shape. She still eats good and I hand feed her at times just to make sure she gets her share.

Hope this helps.
Rhonda
