To finally getting a pair of chameleons. Been doing alot of building..constructing...relearning..and things of that sort. Here's how my setup is shaping up.
Got my misting system built..Turns out it was just a bad valve. Now I've gotta buy some misting heads from a pet store down in Knox Vegas. Doug Barr is dropping them off.
Built one 2x2x4 cage that looks very nice and have started the second one..More furniture quality than my just thrown together cages of a few years ago. If anyone has hooked up a drainage basin to their wooden cage(s) ideas would help me because I believe that I may try this.
Got all the lights and light fixtures I needed.
Now all I need are chameleons! I thought I had made my decision...but I've been having second thoughts lately. I was going to purchase a sub-adult or adult pair of veileds..Non related and not bred but I cannot get ahold of the guy. We had everything worked out..but it's like he vanished.
All this spare time has gotten me thinking about panthers. I've always been fascinated by them, but their price was never in my reach, so I've always kept veileds. I'm selling my paintball gun and with a job I'm working now I may just be able to get a pair. I'm definately leaning torwards panthers, I'll just have to find a reasonable pair to get this little dream moving.
