laying box questions asap

do you all put basking lights on one side? do you pile all soil on one side or what? and as for the top of the rubbermaid, do you keep it off or put it on? maybe this is why she isnt laying...idk. Thanks, anyone give me info that would be great thanks

I put a basking light on the opposite end of the pile. In my lay boxes, I pile the substrate towards one end of the box. I also usually start a hole for te female. That part is not neccessary, and they do not always follow my lead. I place a wighted lid over the end that the pile comes up high.
