Another wierd leo behavior =)

So a couple days ago I cleaned out Jak's tank, and gave her fresh papertowels in her humid hide, and had just sprayed them down. I put her back in her tank and she goes into the humid hide, her favorite spot, and shortly there after begins licking the papertowels. Now she has a perfectly good and accessible water dish that I've seen her use, why would she chose to lick paper towels for water for 10 minutes (no joke, literally 10 minutes) instead of going to the water dish?? Her's a picture of her doing it, it's a little blurry, but I wanted to make sure I got the picture. I would have taken my time had I realized it was going to be a 10 minute long ordeal =)

Mine does the exact same thing. Refuses to drink out of the water bowl and always drinks from the towels in the humid hide. Sometimes when I mist my gecko's tank, he'll chase the water droplets dripping down and attack them and sometimes he wrestles with the paper towel. He's one heck of a wierdo.

haha that happened to me one day..
I filledup the water dish but it over flowed a bit & got sucked into the paper towel.. so Aries runs right over and starts chewing and sucking on teh wet paper towel.. i put a dry piece over it about 10 mins. later, but at first i was panicked like sh was dehydrated or whatever.. but I see her drinking from the dish so I know she was just... bein silly.. She drinks the drops from the leaves of her plant (the one he used to be able o sit in whens he was smal, and now still thinks she can... til she falls out), and water droplets on the side of the cage, when i mist it every now and then (because she does most of her day sleeping under her piece of woo, not her humid hide)
