coconut fibre

does anyone know where you can buy coconut fibre? or anything similar.

Most plant nurseries carry it now. I just bought a big bag of it from a local nursery. If you want the pressed kind that expands when water is added, you can get it at any PetCo.

You can buy coco panels from Blackjungle and Vivarium concepts.
You can buy this really cheap material at PETCO called "Crab Island Climbing Background" by T-REX that is only $3 for a roll that would fit the backwall of a 10 gallon. You can easily buy more to fit a larger tank. There is also stuff at your local nursery, but that stuff isn't very sturdy. Coco panels are much more effective, but very expensive, so I use this stuff for my dripwall.

Another method is to use some kind of netting (not metal) and cut it to the proper dimensions. Attach to the back of the wall with sealant and stuff it with shagnum moss.

Home Depot is a good (cheap) source of coco fiber panels. They are sold in the garden dept. as liners for hanging baskets, and are about $4 for 2 or 3 sq. feet.
