IJ tried attacked my watch....more

JDouglas Jun 12, 2003 09:55 AM

I was holding my 4ft Irian Jaya and she seemed content. I noticed my watch caught her eye, and and right as I was thinking it, she struck and did a full constrict on my watch and wrist. She held on, all coiled up, for about a minute. I held very still and then she let go. It was definitely a feeding response even though I fed her 3 rat fuzzies on Sunday. I wonder what it was about the watch that attracted her to it. I wasn't moving but maybe she could see the second hand ticking. Or maybe she was able to feel the ticking, or sense heat from it, I don't know but it was weird. Anyone have a similiar story.

Timex, takes a licking and keeps on ticking...

Yah, snakes can take up alot of time, I can help, just give me your Irian Jaya and the one you ordered from Yasser, then you will have more time to do other things...

I will even give you first pick after I breed them.

I already posted this pic, but I thought the relevance would be greatly appreciated. My snake is always grabbing onto watches and won't let go for sh*t. By the way, do people ever swear on here? Because I often want to, but feel like I'd be the bad boy of kingsnake forums, so I don't. I never would have thought that snake owners are so polite and considerate just 7 months ago; before buying my first one. Enjoy the pic.
