Housing question

uncg2005 Mar 24, 2004 09:36 AM

Question about how tall of an enclosure a bearded needs, I'm wanting to use some sort of front opening enclosure either sliding or hinged, but was wondering what type of heigth it needs. I've seen other people reference to cage size of 4X2X2 but given lighting requirements was wondering if the 2 ft heigth was needed.

Since beardies like to climb on branches etc. 2 ft. is a nice height. It's not absolutely needed but it does allow for adjustment in height of the basking area to reach the correct temps.
