Pacman Substrate

Meli Mar 24, 2004 10:16 AM

I know several of you are saying that the "bed-a-beast" is the best substrate for a Pacman. However, I do not have this. Instead, I picked up some Fluker's All Natural Moss from a local pet shop. It is easy for my frog to burrow in and holds moisture fairly well, I assume. Also, I got it because I figured it would be easy to clean when it needs cleaning. Is there anything wrong with this substrate? Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Moss provides a whole "jungle gym" where crickets and mealworms and whatever other inverts you have can hide. These can then procede to nibble on the frog, which can lead to big problems.
