How old is 6 years in snake years?

I am interested in breeding Jungle carpet pythons. There is a 6 year old in the classifieds that is proven. How long do males breed? How old is too old?

If anything snakes probably age SLOWER than we do, at any rate I know people with 20 year old female snakes that are still breeding. That male has decades of breeding potential ahead of him.
