I have never seen adult desert phase Cal kings. Do they stay as pure white and jet black as the best babies? Thanks guys

Hi,
This is a verbenia locale Cal.King, I caught this guy last may, he is an adult but will get bigger, and I highly doubt his colors will change. This pic was taken right after I caught him. Verbenia is an intergrade zone from coastal to desert, so you will see some variation between one another-(especially in the rosys there) but I'll post a pic of a female verbenia too, for a comparison to this male.

Hi,
Heres a female. I caught here about a week before the male-(legally, both of them) but they were found within about 1/2 mile from each other on the same road. Shes bigger now and will hopefully breed in 2005. Hope you like the pics-(they have both been posted here before, sorry for the people who have to look 2wice).

PS- this female has more of an orange on the the dorsal scales, but then they turn to light cream on the lateral scales. She was also pretty banged up too, had numerous broken bones but she healed nicely, I think this was a life saving rescue for her, she looked like a bird or soemthing attempted to claw her down.

heres my boy lemmewinks...hes not an adult yet but growing very quickly...him and my corn have shed 3 times in the past 2 months

and the other pic
i hope to get another king soon to breed him, and when my corn is big enough make some jungles
