night temps

How cold is too cold? The coldest area of Miles' tank gets to be at around 70 at night (which is way down on the floor) and is about 75-80 where he sleeps. This temp seems fine to me, but when I see my Miles in the morning he feels very cold when I touch him. Should I just let him wake up in the mornings and warm up him self? Cause sometimes I feel him and he is as cold as an ice cube when the lights first kick on in the morning. He usually goes to the basking spot and wams up and is fine. I thought about maybe putting in a piece of fleece so Miles can bundle up at night when he goes to bed.

Tempest is much the same first thing in the morning, he feels quite cool to the touch and doesn't want to move around much. He trundles over to the heating lamp when it comes on, and usually within half an hour or so he's bright green and bouncy. He doesn't sleep in the warmest part of his cage, so I just figure he's snoozing where he wants to be. I've turned his cage temps up before, but he didn't seem to sleep as well and wouldn't settle down at night. Now, soon as it gets to be 15 minutes or so before lights out, he heads off to his night time spot and settles down.
