Alright, well Ralph is still not doing well at all. When i brought him to the vet, his fecal was clear, but he was severly dehydrated and they wernt sure what to do. They gave him a vitamin injection, and took blood for a blood test. All the tests came back clean, there seems to be nothing wrong with him. She thought maybe some bacteria, so she gave me a round of cipro to try, and also some panacur to worm him. His fecal was negative again, and after cipro hes STILL not doing well at all. I am force feeding him everyday(He will not eat ANYTHING on his own so it is a last resort) chicken baby food, sweet tato baby food, and peach baby food mixed with calcium. He gets about 4-6 cc's of that per day. Plus i give him about 5 or more cc's of pedialyte to try to hydrate him. His beard is ALWAYS black, and always in his best colors (which, i know from chameleons that that means they are not well and are stressed, not sure if it is the same with dragons) but im extremely worried. There isnt anything else i can do!!! He has gained a little weight back but still wont touch salad pellets or bugs, i even open his mouth and put a super in there but he spits it out. I dont know what else to do.We have ruled out gram neg bacteria (clean, also with antibiotic cipro), parasites (clean fecal along with panacur) and any blood related problem. The vet is baffled as well. im so sad
Any help apprecitated asap.....
Im afraid he may not make it...He is 2 years old male, right now is about 343g (was 333) and back when he was well he was about 410g. He is about 17 inches in lenght. Thanks
