Right now i'm making a desert type terrarium and i really hesitate between an uromastyx or a bearded dragon. Dont worry i know the difference in the care of each. But for those who have one of each, wich is the easiest to care or the more tame ? Or any opinion is welcome

i always thought beardeds were the easiest lizard. never knew anyone who had an uromystyx but my frined has had a bearded and it did fine until he didnt fell like buying crickets anymore and gave it to his dads friend. (my friend isnt the best with pets either parrot flew away, guinea pigs got stuck under the deck.)

I have a beardie and an egyptian uro and a saharan, I love them all, each seems the same as far as level of care goes !

Uros do need more heat, higher electric bill, hehehhe !

Some uro's are more skiddish than beardies ! Atleast until they get used to you handling them.

Beardies are for the most part quite docile, active when young, al little more lazy and layed back when older !

Pretty tame though with regular handling ! So if you are looking for a tame guy, most would say dragon.

Again having both species , I like things about each.

Good luck with you dilema, LOL Let us know what you decided !
