I have a desert night lizard but I don't know what sex it is how do I tell?

Hey there,

having kept night lizards most of my life,
it is pretty easy to tell the difference.
Males have femoral pores, just like the iguanids,
just be careful when you check for pores,
as they will drop their tails for no reason at all.
