i was reading a care sheet for leo and i noticed that it siad to put the humid hide on the cold side is this true

Nope, not true. If it was on the cold side it would be cold and wet. You want it to be warm and moist, so it needs to be over the heat pad.

Hey Bryan, yea I still read the board. I just don't post as much anymore. I actually sold hercules and just kept my two normals. I was getting kind of busy and couldn't take care of all of them. I might buy some more though this summer and at daytona later this year. How are your leos doing?

It's better to put it on the warm side...since there is moisture involved, the humid hide is always a few degrees lower than the surrounding temps, so putting it on the cool side will make it quite chilly. This will probably discourage the leos from using it, and if they do they could become chilled and it could affect their immune system.
