She is well within breeding size and wieght in IMO. I will be posting(on this forum and my website when it is up) the results of a breeding project I'm working on this season with 3 of my hold back females from the 2003 season. Just to give you an idea, the first female laid 21 perfect fertile eggs for me on 3/20, she weighed 336 grams post egg laying.
good luck

i think shes about 3 i bought her as an adult proven breeder in october, they didnt tell me how old she was so i just figured she's the same age as the other two they had.
Well, if she's three years old and that size/weight then I'd say you are fine breeding her as long as she is in good condition because more then likely she will not get bigger... she may be just "that type" of dragon that stays "smaller" then some out there. Really should try and find out how old she is though.
I say this because, in my opinion only, some dragons at that size are not ready to breed. To give you an example, some of our dragons we held back from last year reached those sizes in 8 monthss or less.. and in my opinion they are not ready to breed. You just kinda get a feel for your dragon and combine the age/weight/size/length/day-to-day behavior to see if they are ready to go or not.
Yea, they may technically be "big enough" if you just go by size/weight, but with all of the growing they have left to do they are not ready in my opinion. Their body is taxed enough just getting enough calcium to support their regular bone growth.. throwing breeding and other hormones and eggs into that is just not a good idea. (talking about young dragns that are over 300)
I also think, that there really is no need to rush them into breeding. There are enough dragons out there that nobody needs to breed any one dragon that fast that they can't wait until they are at least a year old.
Anyway, that's not directed at you UroJade... I was just explaining my point/thoughts. I'm not trying to say my way is right it's just the way I choose to deal with our dragons and it works for us. I think it's great you asked a ? about your female and I think she'll do just fine and good luck breeding her. If you have any ?'s or problems shoot me an email be glad to help you out. It's a lot of fun.
