We saw small white, roundish shaped wormy things in my iguanas stool...we've never noticed it before...and are not sure what it is. I'll be bringing a stool sample to a vet if I notice it again but in the meantime does anyone know what this might be?

You need to collect a fresh sample the next time he poops and put it in the fridge (to keep it fresh) and take it into the vet for a poop test. A parasite can and will kiill your iguana quickly. The sooner you take care of this issue the better. Your vet will also tell you how to clean his cage and how to medicate the ig to get rid of the worms with a prescription.

I consulted a vet, and we're pretty sure it's round worms...I think we're going to use fenbendazole...usually it's used for horses. thanks.
