Hey Rob, did you ever find out anything about that other brand of humidifier? I am getting a little tired of having to buy new Reli-On humidifiers every month and a half and would L O V E to get something that lasts a lot longer. Thanks man.

Get the ProProducts misting system.

Remember, my snake wasn't shedding correctly, eating correctly, everything was wrong with her.

Ever since I got it and a proper thermostat controller, she has been perfect. Eating perfectly, shedding in one piece, no RI. EXCELLENT.

I might not be ROB C., but that thing is awesome.

Goodluck,

Richard

I have to humidify entire snake rooms. Would that system work for whole, large rooms?

Call the guy at proproducts. I'm not sure about whole rooms, but I know my cage is really set right thanks to them.

Brian, I haven't purchased the system from JWR Reptiles yet (I am getting one May 1 when our new fiscal year begins)....but, several folks I know who are using it swear by it. In terms of the comments on the pro products misting systems, I 100% agree in that this is truly the best way to go (I love mine). Since you are trying to provide optimal humidity for entire rooms, having one humidifying unit is probably the simplest way to go, however, pro product's misting systems are very adaptable and you can literally mist entire rooms of cages off the same system so it is something to consider (plus, you can really boost the humidity levels INSIDE the snake's environment). Hope this helps. Rob

Hey Guys, I received the JWR humidifier from Jeff@JWR and it is very nice. It has two water supplies with handles and and a UV lite for killing any bacteria etc that may develop. If the tanks dry out, the unit shuts off and with two tanks, it automatically switched from one to the other. All you do is fill the empty. On high it lasts about 2-3 days with both tanks. I actually set mine on the timers with the lights at around 60% max setting and it lasted 6 days. I like the controls on it and recommend it. I am working on a piping system to concentrate it in two cages that really need the humidity (timor monitor and GTP). My burm has a large water basin and absolutely no shedding problems. Of course he is only 12ft, lol. It would be nice for my bloods, but I have too many of them for a stand alone unit.
