Hi there,
I'm heading to Reno for two days on Friday and would rather spend my time in the desert herping than in the casino's donating money.
If anyone would be willing to point me in a good direction either for daytime locations, or even better maybe a road or two for road cruising at night, I would be very grateful.

I haven't seen a single snake this season. While it has been very warm the last couple of weeks, it's gonna be cold this weekend. If it is not to cold, the best place is Pyramid Lake. It's about 20 minutes from Reno.
Just figured that one out. Bummer. It's been so warm in Northern Calif. I just assumed it would be hot this time of year in Reno. Shows what I know. Thanks for the suggestion on Pyramid lake, will have to check that out.
