my ball finally ate! its been 4 months but with the early spring we're having i figured he was ready and he pounded down 2 mice . he doesn't look like the long fast has hurt him any. what do you think

That's good to see! Mine finally ate too yesterday for the first time in 3 months! It's like they know winter is officially over even though they're never outside to see that.

Outta 5 females I have only 2 aren't eating yet. The one is a pig though, she ate 4 rat pups in 3 days (all the girls are around 240 grams except for the pig weighed in at 410 earlier today).

they must be able to tell that the days are getting longer . plus it's been really warm here, close to 90 a couple of days, but it looks like rain tomorrow so winter's not over yet
