My girlfriend just put him on a rock and he proceeded to put his head in the water(still on the rock) and his head was twitching... It's been twitching a little bit anyways, but now it's really bad. Actually he just stopped. He still has a horrible eye infection and can't open his eyes. When I went to the vet he gave me some eye ointment. Does anyone know what's causing the twitching though? I'm so scared for this poor little guy, please respond ASAP!!!!

I still think your turtle has an RI and will likely die without antibiotics. Did your vet even mention an RI?
no, but someone did advise that i call my vet and ask him to prescribe injectable antibiotics. thanks.
