hmmm...ever since the new forum has been up I run into an occasional problem of the page not fully loading. Usually just a reload would suffice, but today I am having a difficult time getting the message text. For example: I wanted to reply to a post and when I clicked on the posters message all I get is the heading of the page (everything down to the message box) and no matter how many times I hit reload it won't. It is not my computer/browser as I have no problem on any other sites, nor did this happen on the old forum. Just wondering what's up and if others are having similar problems?

Try updating your USER PREFS at the top of the page. Hope this helps!

Hey John,

I was wondering where you've been! I don't see how my prefs can make a change in this problem. It is so intermittant. Right after I posted the origianl message I had no problem, But getting to this point now just took me about 6 tries! Anyway, we'll see. thanks

I think you are talking about QUOTING, make sure in your USER PREFS that QUOTING: is set to yes. If that doesn't work, try cleaning out your internet cookies, history, and so on, then try again, or try logging out of your internet service, and logging back in. Also it could be that this site is getting so many hits that the server just cant take them all! Good Luck!

I have been very busy. I hope to have the outside caging done, and pics of everything by the end of the week. Then I hope to have it all posted on my site with plans. The leafs seem to be doing great, one of the two females will eat silkworms, the other female and male have not seen them eat much, just breed!LOL They keep eyeing the crickets in the bowl, not sure if they are eating them, but they are going some where! Off to try and finish the last cage, and then make doors. I have 3 cages finished, and 5 almost done. I will be posting updates soon.

Also I forgot to post in my EXTRA EXTRA post, but I also stated a colony of Madagascar Hissing roaches. I ordered 100, got about 95, 5 died in shipping, so I think I have about 90. They are almost ready to breed or have done so already and will give live birth soon, they are fat!

The only problem i'n having is getting into the leopard gecko classifieds. For days now when i try i fget error message and then booted off. It doesn't happen anywhere else on here. Not sure if it;'s my comp or kingsnake..

...I, too, have trouble getting into the classifieds with the same problem as you. I think it is Kingsnake. I have tried different KS forums to experiment and I do not have the posting/reload problem in any other but Cham's! It just took me 6 re-loads to bring up this window in order to response, then their are other times I have no problem. I think John may be right - we are just too damn active! LOL

Might be your location? I' m in So. Cal. with a comp. that is FUBAR, and KS is one of the few dependable sites I have!!!!Go figure.

The weird thing is that this is a new problem and only on KS, seems to be only on cham forum, too. I have HS cable internet, a top of the line computer (use it for work and lots of graphics, etc.) so, who knows. The past 1/2 hour that I have been reading and posting it hasn't been a problem, but earleir today it was such a pain that I gave up! oh, well...hopefully it will pass
