I was just wondering if anyone here used the exoterra Day Glo 50w bulb. I didn't know if this was okay to use as my basking spot light. The box has a picture of a turtle on it so I figured I was good to go. I was using the 60 wat reptisun 5.0 daylight blue bulb but it went out on me after only a month. Plus I think it made the basking area a bit too hot for my little guys. I also have a uvb light on for 11 hours or so. So am I set until another bulb blows? Or at least until my uvb lights 6 months are up?
