what is the deal with the citrus ghost. what are your opinions one them. are they a true morph. have they been produced by any big breeders. thanks for any info.

I went by and saw them in Daytona this past year....they are some very nice looking hypomelanistic balls........a bit different in color than the hypos were used to seeing......should be good for some different combos.

Those are some beautiful animals. Jared is correct we are used to a usual look for hypos so when we see something different it is only natural to question it. But there is a lot of work behind closed doors with hypos and different bloodlines that is making this type of morph super exciting. But to your answer yes the citrus ghost is a hypo animal and a beauty at that. Everyone needs to remember that most hypos(greens, orange, yellow and in this case citrus) do prove out to be genetic. As far as the other "hypos" people claim to have most are nothing more then normal ball pythons with some faded darker areas most likely from the different UV rays they are getting while out in the wild. You can tell a true hypo when you see it as well as some other traits. Hope this helps.
