Problems with #2

zooguy Mar 25, 2004 08:41 PM

hey-
I have a young creamsicle corn snake(probably a 2003). He went for a week without defecating. I just looked in his cage and saw a little spot of poop, almost like he is trying and can't (please excuse the detail). Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you in advance!

Ok, First let me say thatnk you for not giving ALL the details. And second I might have a solution...try soaking your corn in warm but not hot water for about 10 min. or more. If it does it like my tortoise....it will defecate in the water, if it doesnt it will probally come out in the next 24 hours.

Thank you so much! I tried soaking and he defecated within the first 30 seconds or so. Maybe it was coinsidence or maybe the water startled him. Whatever it was, it worked! Thank you again for your help!!!
