I have a female Leo and my buddy has a Male. He brought his over the other day so they could mate...as soon as he seen my gecko he got all tough looking and began vibrating his tail like crasy. He looked the same as when he is about to munch on some crickets. Now my question is was he mad or is this just normal behavior ..we seperated them because we were just mating them for fun not profit and would rather not see them hurt each other. Oh and by the way the female also tried to pin the males head down with her tail as well.

was the male the one doing most of the moveing of the tail and stuff ? cause when i stuck my female into my males cage about2-3 days ago my male actually bit the females tale and i was freeking out so much cause i had just bought my female i didnt want her to get all F**ked up so i just called up the breader i bought her from he goes nah that is normal he is just showing her who the domanite male is in that cage....... so yea it is normall !! they will do just fine alot of ppl around here might say it isnt right when i bought a female and put her in the cage when i had been looking at this FEMALE for about 6 months straight and she isnt sick at all cause i asked the breader to set her aside for me but w.e. i wouldnt had worried about it now that i know ... have fun i heard that when a male mates they get realy nasty almost to think that he is rapeing her !
