Ok, i have an all screen tank which is 24 wide x 24 deep by 36 high. it is bigger than my friends 50 gallon, so im guessing its closer to 55 gallons.
Right now i have a tokay gecko which is so docile. I have only had it for a week and a half, but its colors have lightened up so muchs since i first brought it home, and it is eating, and aside from a cut on its mouth it got when another tokay bit it in the store, it is perfectly healthy. The little fella even lets me pet her head (not actually sure what sex it is) In any case, i really want skunk geckos, or maybe golden geckos. The pet store by me has 3 skunk geckos coming in tonight. I have read in the archives that the skunk and tokay have the same care sheets, so they require the same care. if i were to get 1, or even 2 skunks, would they be able to co exist in this tank with the tokay? does sex play a role? i dont know how to sex them, i think my tokay is a female, but im not 100% sure. anyway, i obviously dont want to get the skunks if they are going to get hurt, and i understand that the tokay would whip its arse, if they were to fight, but even when not mixing species, you always run the risk that one will injure the other.
anyway, can some more experienced people please give me some input.
