Lavender het for axanthic. I know what a shame to be breeding to a normal. This has got to be the hardest morph to photograph accurately...

Why - unless it some diseased or otherwise disabled snake - put any mostly terrestrial snake in with something like a snapper?

That pic makes about as much sense as me standing next to a big snapper with my 12 Guage after I blew the snapper to pieces and saying "Only the best buckshot for snappers...yee haw!"

Or..."Only the best Alligator Snapper for my 14' Alligator!"

If you're going to put up such pics, at least give us some sort of story behind it; did the snake wander into the water, was it sick/dead, etc. or are you just sick and get kicks out of stuff like that.

John,
I'm just a sicko that likes to spend $100 on every meal for my snapper. No really, that hatchling never ate and has been in the freezer since it died. I just cut off a piece now and then for the turtle. Sorry, I thought that would be pretty much obvious.

I'm not trying to impress anyone and I don't see how feeding my snapper dead snakes has anything to do with my undergarment of choice. Would you rather I had it cremated so it's entire existence would have gone to waste? Why post a response like that without KNOWING the (obvious) back story. Lay off and lighten up, man.

BTW, I've noticed that you feed your snakes rodents. Why? Are you some kind of sicko? I mean, I do too but my sicko-ness has already been established. I mean, why else would I feed a carnivore meat.

martin, what you should realize from this is that people never make the assumptions you expect, therefore when you post something like that you really need to comment on it, or you can't be surprised when someone assumes the worst. I mean, when I saw it, I certainly hoped it was dead before the turtle got it but who really knows? Someone on the general forum posted that they had gotten fed up with stuff, fed half their animals to their other animals, smashed up all their aquariums etc... so....figure that people really don't know what the situation is, and post an explanation with the pics to avoid the trouble for yourself and everyone else

In hindsight, I agree. This probably wasn't an appropriate post for this forum.
