Walt the geriatric foxsnake...PIC

Adopted/rescued this guy from the local nature center. They didn't feel they taking good enough care of him. He was a little dehydrated with some stuck shed, and a little underweight but I've got him all fixed up. You can't see it in this photo but his eyes stay a cloudy blue constantly. They thought he was retaining eye-caps but I'm pretty sure it's cataracts. So I named him Walt and I'll be taking care of him through his retirement. He's got that floppy feel that a lot of snakes get after being handled by hundreds of children in their life. He's enormous. Enjoy!

at least he found someone who appreciates his wisdom. Interesting idea, geriatric ratsnake photos. Could be fun seeing what else peole have out there.
