**NEW** Snake Wranglers Episode filmed in Australia

oxyuranus Mar 26, 2004 02:29 AM

G'day all,

According to the revised current program schedule, National Geographic Channel will be premiering the second of two shows I did with them for Snake Wranglers II on Sunday 28th March at 10.00am Eastern Time (7.00am out West).

This should have some cool footage of feisty Aussie snakes in a really amazing location. Like the first show (on Papuan taipans) I'm yet to see the final product, so feel free to drop me a line and let me know what you think of the end product.

Cheers

I just caught the one on Papuan Taipans this weekend and thought it was great. How is that research coming along?

G'day mate,

Work in PNG is continuing. It does however appear that we're gaining ground in terms of supplies of appropriate antivenoms. A major project this year is the development of a training course for healthworkers, and that too is starting to look like being a winner.

Cheers
