mulder73 Mar 26, 2004 06:12 AM

Hi there!I just posted a message here and I'd like really say thanks for the answers!I heard that goldfish are good "vacoom" for the tank..my question is: since my snapping is about 5cm, could be stressed by the fish?therefore are goldfish too oily?

Personally, I dont like goldfish. There like adding another turtle to the tank. They are very messy, and do produce a lot of "slime". I would reccomend getting like a dozen Rosies depending on the size of your tank. They are much cleaner, and make a great food source for your snapper. I keep around 15 in my 40gal and they do a good job with eating the leftover food.
