my spending spree at the expo

carrotfairy Jun 12, 2003 01:43 PM

well, i went wild at the expo...of course. i got:
4 cone headed lizards (weird)
a helmeted iguana (they don't get big.....too cute)
a mountain horned dragon (adorable)

there was a vet there that was getting rid of her personal collection and she had the terrariums all set up with substrate, branches, water bowls AND lizards. i got a ten gallon tank, 2 thirty gallon tanks, substrate for all, 4 climbing branches, 3 water bowls and 6 lizards for 130 bucks. yes, i made out like a bandit....she just wanted them to have good homes i suppose that's why she had their set up all ready to go and everything.

no collared lizards though...i needed a female and there were only males there....*sigh*...poor homey no nookie yet...lol

Thats cool, the coneheads are pretty neat, I like them, and I also have a mountain horned dragon, Gorgo, she is very sweet but after they are adult they dont move very much at all, can sit it seems in the same spot for 3 days LOL But nice, and cute ! Well seems like you got a good deal, and a nice gift from Hubby. As far as the female collared you will get one evenually. :0) Eve
