Need a good ratio-ground turkey with vits

mellordies Mar 26, 2004 01:16 PM

I hate to ask a question I have already read the answer too, but I just spent about 20 mins looking at old posts. Fed my b/w his first golfball sized turkey ball which he ate half off. That is the most he's eaten since I got him in Jan, been sleepin the whole time. How much vits should I mix in with each ball? And should I let it warm up first or feed it cold? Thanks

The SDZ turkey diet consists of 10 pounds of raw ground turkey, 90 grams of steamed bone meal and 2 crushed Centrum vitamins. This recipe can be cut to use with less than 10 pounds of meat. The bone meal can be found at health food stores. This does freeze well.

I feed it my tegu right out of the fridge. He doesn't care. I don't see anything wrong with it. Also, since he's young and doesn't like fruit too much (he'll eat a little but of banana of he's really hungry), sometimes I mix random fruits into the balls to make sure he's getting enough fruits.
