Another baby question

savvgawd Mar 26, 2004 02:42 PM

My baby columbian boa has been feeding on frozen mice the whole time, can i still make the switch to live rodents? He has only fed 4 times in his little life.

I don't understand why you would rather feed live.
Good luck.

How you choose to feed your boas is obviously your decision. Most of us on here are going to say "stick with the frozen thawed" (for numerious reasons). BUt if you reeeealy want to switch to live food, make sure you are "stunning" them first so they do not injur the snake when he/she goes to kill it. Even if they are stunned you are still subjecting your snake to possible injury....

im sure you snake will take a live feeder even though its eaten frozen thawed
