Just a Q about someone's suggestion

Priest Mar 26, 2004 03:06 PM

Someone said that if I was worrying about crix getting out of the lid of my tank, I could secure a plastic critter/bug keeper inside without a top on. That way the crestie could go in to get the crix from the top, but the crix couldn't get out. Sounds good to me, just wanted to know if there was any way a crestie could get stuck inside.

(once I have this sideways lid thing all fixed, then it'll be so easy and cheap to get 2 female cresties)

Oh, and would 2 females fit in a tank with a 15-18 base tank with a hight of 36?

Was that me? If your worried about them getting out, what I did was put the little guy in the bottom of the container, then nudged him to get out on his own. I also made sure to aggravate the crix once inside the container to see if they could jump out when being hunted. If you use a hard container, may wanna line the bottom with styrofoam or something similar so when your rhac dives, he won't hurt himself. Hope this helps.
