getting new gulf coast to eat.

i just recieved a baby gulf coast yesterday. i have him in a large rubbermaid tub with moist dirt and bed a beast as substrait. he has a large pan of water to soak in and a 100 watt zoomed capture the sun uv bulb set high enouph so that his basking spot is about 90 and the rest of the cage is about 80. i have tried to get him to eat but nothing so far. i have offered him redworms, mealworms, slugs a straw berry and repcal box turle food. he is a little tiny thing. i just got him yesterday so i know it hasent been that long. what can i get him to do to start eating? thanks for your help

keep doing what you are doing and be patient. I'll bet the little guy comes around.

my baby boxes realy like those little bloodworms in water. you have to put them in water. but babies like to eat in the water anyways. theywil eat alot of things in the water, like plants and fruits and bugs. you have to make sure everything is tiny for them. mine realy like duck weed but only the littest kind of duck weed. the blood worms are realy tiny too. little foods and in the water. those are the secrets for baby boxes
